UK CAA PORTAL & CELLMA
Before attending our medical centre for a UK CAA pilot or ATCO medical certificate, applicants must complete two important steps:
1. Register for a CAA Portal Account:
Applicants must first create an account on the CAA portal. This is a one-time process, and approval from the CAA can take up to 10 days—so we recommend applying well in advance of your medical (see video below). Here is a LINK to the CAA portal.
2. Complete the Online Medical Application Form (Cellma):
Before every medical appointment—whether for an initial, revalidation, or renewal medical—you must complete a medical application form on the CAA’s Cellma medical records system (see video below).
Once submitted, the form becomes visible to the Aeromedical Examiner (AME), who will review it with you on the day of your assessment. Here is a LINK to Cellma.
Don’t worry if you make a mistake—any errors can be easily corrected with the AME during your appointment.
Both steps must be completed before attending for your medical. A failure to complete the process before the medical may delay the release of a certificate, where applicable, to a later date.
